Depressed
It has been estimated that more than 19 million adult Americans are living with major depression. Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). John 8:36 says that who the Son sets free, they shall be free indeed. Let's work together today to help you find freedom from depression.
Anxious
Many individuals can find themselves feeling concerned about a new job, first day of school, or big test. But others can struggle in their daily functions to live a life free from constant and debilitating anxiety. It can overwhelm you and cause you to feel panic and unrest in your mind. The Bible tells us 365 times to fear not, and it is the will of our Father that no one should live in constant fear. Find freedom now.
Suicidal
Suicide is the third leading cause of death among people ages 10-24. Once every 15 minutes someone commits suicide and every 40 seconds someone attempts suicide. Suicidal thoughts can be very overwhelming, and can cause a person to completely withdraw, which is exactly where the enemy wants them. There is hope. Victory is available through the healing Resurrection Power of Jesus Christ. At Come to the Well, we help clients get to the root of the hurt that is causing this hopelessness and despair.
Lonely
It is a basic human need to feel known and cared for, yet nearly half of Americans feel alone. Cigna Insurance took a nationwide survey of 20,000 adults and found that 54% of respondents said they feel like no one actually knows them well. Additionally, 56% of people said the people they surround themselves around “are not necessarily with them,” and approximately 40% said they “lack companionship,” their “relationships aren’t meaningful,” and that they feel “isolated from others.” Believing you are alone is another strategy of the enemy. Hebrews 13:5 tells us that our God will never leave us or forsake us. Let us help you never feel alone again.
Angry
Anger manifests itself in many ways in each of us. For some of us, it happens in large outbursts that result in hurt feelings and resentment. For others it is more subtle and exhibited in a very passive way that can also cause hurt feelings and resentment. Many people who struggle with anger want the other person to feel a consequence. However, often the consequence is felt by the person who is exhibiting the anger. They often find themselves longing for closeness in their relationships that never comes. And in escalated cases, it can lead to loss of employment, divorce, and even arrests. Ephesians 4:31-32 implores us to put away all bitterness, anger, wrath, slander and clamor. Instead we are encouraged to put on love, tender-heartedness, forgiveness, and kindness. This can be very hard to do in the moment as anger begins to arise in us. Let us show you how.
Addicted
Addiction comes in many forms. Whether you are addicted to drugs, alcohol, food, sexual inclinations, work, etc., the underlying theme is typically another issue that has never been resolved. If you have tried everything to overcome your addictions, you probably feel like the addiction is insurmountable. But there is definite victory in the Resurrection Power of Christ. But how do you tap into that? Katrynia will walk alongside you to show you how to tap into the Power of Christ to heal the hurts that lie below the surface that have kept you trapped in your addiction for so long. Learn more.
Helpless
In Galatians 5:1, it says that it is for freedom that Christ has set us free. We are to stand firm, then and not let ourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. If you have received Christ as your Savior and allowed Him to be the Lord of your life, He has already set you free through His victory over sin and death on the cross. But, are you living free? Freedom doesn't mean that you have a perfect life. Rather, it means that you have the ability to know, love, worship, and obey Christ by walking in His truth daily. John 10:10 says that Christ came to give us life and give it to us more abundantly. That verse also tells us that there is an enemy who wants to steal our freedom and keep us from that abundant life Christ promised us. But you are not a helpless victim stuck in a game of tug of war between Christ and Satan. In our program, we help you expose the lies that are holding you back and move forward into freedom in Christ.
Scared
There are over 365 verses in the Bible commanding us to fear not. Why so many? Because our Savior knew that we would struggle with fear. Once we accepted Christ as our Savior and Lord, we received a new Spirit that lives within us. However, fear has now become a habit. We are told in 2 Timothy 1:7 that we have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and a sound mind. Wow! There is peace just in reading those words, isn't there? So how can a believer begin to overcome the fear that has plagued us for most of our lives? Let's begin today stripping away the layers of fear.
